The AI Innovation Hub is a shared digital platform that facilitates transnational knowledge exchange, AI-related prototype development in dementia care, and long-term cooperation among vocational education and training (VET), higher education (HE), and industry, ensuring continued innovation beyond the project’s duration.
The Hub serves as a central platform for knowledge exchange, prototype assessment, and long-term cooperation among VET, HE, and industry. It strengthens the innovation ecosystem by fostering deeper collaboration and continuous engagement among stakeholders.
Launched to support transnational collaboration during the project lifetime as well as after the project, the AI Innovation Hub provides a space for continuous interaction and collaboration. The AI innovation ecosystem operates together on a shared digital platform that will eventually form an AI Innovation Hub for use by ecosystem actors and more broadly by all actors interested in joining or obtaining information and knowledge after the project. Access to the AI Innovation Hub is open to all in Europe and beyond.
The Hub is supported through structured collaboration activities such as innovation ecosystem camps and hackathons, where multidisciplinary teams develop and refine AI-based solutions to real-world dementia care challenges. By integrating stakeholders from higher education, vocational education and training, research, the public sector, and the business sector in healthcare and AI technology, the project ensures that all relevant actors are actively involved in the innovation process, leading to more effective and sustainable outcomes.
Through this approach, the AI Innovation Hub enables and ensures transnational collaboration, supports prototype development, strengthens regional AI innovation ecosystems, and creates a sustainable structure for continued knowledge exchange and innovation beyond the project’s duration.
