Goals

Stimulate innovation, the exchange of knowledge and deep collaboration by strengthening the innovation ecosystem with stronger ties across stakeholders in VET, HE and deep tech Industry and the healthcare sector.

Enhance entrepreneurial mindset and innovation and AI skills in healthcare and ICT education by addressing skills gaps, fostering experiential learning, and providing industry-relevant digital learning content.

Instituto Pedro Nunes, Associação para a Inovação e Desenvolvimento em Ciência e Tecnologia, with headquarters in Rua Pedro Nunes, 3030-199 Coimbra, Portugal, VAT 502 790 610 (hereinafter IPN), within the framework of its activities collects and treats personal data, such as:

Citizen ID / Passport, Marital status, Affiliation
Medical clearance, VAT Number, Social Security Number
Photography and Image, Curriculum Vitae, Qualification Certificate
Salary sheet, Project timesheet, Fiscal receipt
Employment/Consultancy contracts
Log and access books, Event attendance lists, Questionnaires

II. Personal data processing

Personal data processing is performed by IPN through automated and/or analogical means, such as: Collection, Register, Organization, Customization, Search, Dissemination, Comparison, and Deletion.

III. Data subject consent

IPN requires to the data subject, in all cases, the freely given, specific, informed and unambiguous consent. For children under 13, processing is only lawful if consent is given by holders of parental responsibility.

IV. GDPR Compliance

IPN is fully compliant with EU Regulation 2016/679 (GDPR) and internal legislation. IPN keeps a continuous and thorough registry of all processing activities.

V. Lawfulness of processing

Personal data shall be processed for: Statutory goals, legal compliance, contract performance, project auditing, quality certification, and security of premises.

VI. Data storage period

Personal data will be stored for the period defined by legal rules or the strict time needed for the fulfilment of the processing purpose.

VII. Data subject rights

The data subject has the right to: Access, Rectification, Erasure ("right to be forgotten"), Limitation, Opposition, and Portability. Complaints can be filed to CNPD.

VIII. Processor and third party intervention

IPN may authorise third parties or subcontractors to process data to comply with legal/contractual duties, subject to prior consent when required by GDPR.

X. IPN´s Duty of protection

IPN implements technical proceedings to avoid loss or unauthorized access. IPN shall notify CNPD of any data violation within the legal timeframe.
