Join Our Upcoming “Collecting Needs Camp”: Shaping the Future of AI in Dementia Care

May 12, 2026

The DETECT 2.0 project is pleased to announce the upcoming Collecting Needs Camp, an interactive session dedicated to identifying the real-world needs of end users living with early-stage dementia and Mild Cognitive Impairment (MCI).
As part of our mission to strengthen Europe’s innovation capacity in AI-enabled early detection, we are gathering experts, stakeholders, and caregivers to build a shared foundation for future technological solutions. This camp is a vital step in developing our AI Innovation Hub—a digital platform designed for transnational knowledge exchange and the development of AI prototypes for dementia care.

What to Expect:

  • Collaborative Dialogue: Exchange perspectives on the challenges of MCI and early dementia.
  • Multilingual Support: While the main language is English, workshop phases will offer breakout groups in Dutch, Spanish, Portuguese, and Finnish.
  • Ecosystem Building: Help shape education and training solutions that align healthcare needs with AI innovation.
